The Indianapolis Zoo gets hordes of intern/volunteer applications flung at them yearly, and they have the luxury of being extremely choosy about new-hires. One of the research outfits in town isn’t hiring, and the other one requires a Bachelor’s degree for anything other than cage-washing.
Plodding along … still haven’t heard back from the first place, but I have an interview scheduled somewhere else for Monday.
Interview went well, and I have working interview set up for next Monday. Gonna call the first clinic back and try to figure out WTF is going on over there.
Well, I never heard back from the first place. The second place didn’t hire me … but the third one did! I start June 4 with a 30% increase in pay, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, no more Saturdays, and paid vacation. WHEEEEEEEEEE!
