Eonwe, I can totally sympathize. I’ve been in the situation where I’ve been asked a question and because of the setting, the time constraints, etc, I was unable to articulate an answer and sort of skipped over it. The thing is, after the fact I reflect on what a perfect opportunity I missed to make a point, teach a lesson, whatever. Fortunately, at least in one case I had the same situation reoccur later and was able to make a much better showing of it, because of the thoughts from the previous encounter I bungled. So perhaps you can use this as an opportunity to focus your thoughts and consider alternate responses so if the situation arises again, you will be better prepared. Of course, the biggest preparation is to get your mindset ready.
