Today I...

…made my last drive over the small mountain road to the place that I used to call work. I stopped along the way at my spot where I can view the ocean far off in the distance over a valley of redwood trees. I said goodbye to the little white church that always greeted me, thru fog or sunshine, as I rounded the bend and headed down that ocean highway. I stopped at the place that always brings a smile to my face, my dolphin playground. Many a time, I have stopped to watch this school at play and wanted so much to forget about my responsibilities and join them. I bid them farewell and promised to be back, just not on a daily basis.

Monday I begin a new path in my life. I have a new job that I am very excited about starting. Yet thru all the excitement, there are places and people that I will miss…

I really try to be good but it just isn’t in my nature!

I would have kept on working there, just for the opportunity to have that view greet me every morning…sigh.

Anyways, congrats on the new job!
