“The fourth of March”
OK, what am I missing?
ducks & runs
Rilchiam I hereby command thee to March Forth
Yes, I knew when I posted that it might not work for non-Americans, but I didn’t want to tip my hand. Anyway, “Fore(ward) March” is almost as good.
/nitpick ON/
Actually MARCH FIRST (before doing anything else) surely qualifies…
/nitpick OFF/
It’s also my best friend’s birthday.
Oh, I got it all right… I was just yanking your chain (hence the D&R remark).
Of course, 1/8 (or 8/1 to you Americans) is interesting too (especially if preceeded by “Oh!”)
Any other “meaningful” dates like that?
Dani
“I lie second. JULY FIRST.”
“May one?”
March Fourth!
May One?
/finer nitpick ON/
Technically, any day of March could be a command: MARCH SECOND! (i.e., get dressed first, then march)
/finer nitpick OFF/
:eek; Am I the only person who somehow took the OP as meaning it must be a day on which one is orodered to “FRY” something?
Yes, perhaps I am.
back under my rock, then.
One may.
Today is also 3-4-5. In America anyway.
August first? One August?
One ate or ate one.
Monkey will first. APRIL SECOND.
It’s also my brother’s birthday. Are you my brother’s best friend??!
You know, I looked in the little easyview box and was sitting here for five minutes going “March 5th? 5th of March? Huh?” since I didn’t see this yesterday…
Think of an exclamation like “Oh! Exalted One!” or “Oh! Great One!” Now replace “Exalted” / “Great” with the name of the eighth month… (OK, this works better written than spoken, I admit)
Ahhhhhh. I see (finally). Thank you.
