I turn on the TV, and it comes on. CNN is playing. I look up and in the corner of the screen is a little box with that headline.
My first thought, “Huh. Well that would explain a lot what he says!”
I saw a headline that said something like “President to address opioid addiction problem” and my first thought was “He’s going to rehab?”
2pm eastern time? Sure hope, those speeches seem always when my show is on!

Any bets on what he’ll say? I’m guessing “cracking down” (so to speak) and feeding even more people to the prison system.

This may be one place where he, or the people in different agencies under him, may be on to something that could turn out good. Basically at the same time as the speech a couple serious raids took place around here targeting doctors/medical practices that look to be feeding the problem.
