Fair enough. I made another grilled cheese this evening.

I’ve been doing grilled cheese wrong this whole time. I always spread butter on the bread and then put it in the pan. Wrong.

Better way to do it, which I have recently discovered, is to melt butter in the pan and dredge the bread in melted butter. Then add cheese and throw in to the pan.

I have no idea why that works better, but it’s so much more crispy and doesn’t seem to leave the middle soggy in the least.

I usually put a pat of butter on each slice of bread, then microwave for 10 to 15 seconds to soften the butter. I end up getting a nice spread without ripping up the bread that way. In the pan makes perfect sense too

I had it on saturday, Ihave it with white bread and chocolate milk.
I put the butter on the bread.

They aren’t hard to understand. Grilling one in a pan is hard to understand.
