Or it could be the simple fact that conservative cartoonists just aren’t funny, with wits like B.C. and Mallard Filmore as representatives.

As for Trudeau and Doonesbury…I ignore that comic now. I had to start doing that after my eyes began cramping up from all that involuntary rolling they were doing when exposed to Trudeau’s leftist drivel.

Stick to Fox News, with its guaranteed 100% unquestioning patriotic jingoism in every broadcast.

And I will readily admit that I think Doonesbury is past its prime; comparing the stuff he was doing back in the Nixon and Carter eras with today’s strips is like comparing MASH* and the forgettable sequel, AfterMASH.*

IMO, the only truly biting political comic strip in the paper these days is The Boondocks, and I’m sure you’ll dismiss that as “leftist drivel” too (“It’s so unrealistic! Who’s going to believe that a bunch of black kids could live in the suburbs without destroying the place?!”).
