Today is 01/11/01.
Just thought I’d share that for those who hadn’t yet realized.
01/11/01. There won’t be another day with all 1 and 0s after this year until 2010.
And it’s I think 57 in binary. FWTW.
We now return you to your regulraly-scheduled MPSIMS.
Actualy it’s 01/11/2001
There won’t be a year with ALL ones and zeros until 01/01/10,000
Sadly there won’t be another odd day, as in 11/19/1999 where all the numbers are odd until 1/1/3111.
And now back to your regularly scheduled mundanity.
I remember being glued to my computer on July 8, 1990 just before 1 in the afternoon. I was waiting for the moment when the numbers would be 12:34:56 7/8/90. (Won’t see THAT again til 2090!)
Did ya take a screen shot?
(COULD you take a screen shot, in 1990? I guess not.)

We get several more THIS year at least…I love number games…
But not the way I wrote it, will;)
Damnit, stop trying to steal my fun!
TroubleAgain, I was going to try to list all the dates with only 1s and 0s, but I got bored. Evidently you did not:)
Nope.
Actually, I do love neat numbers like that. When I was driving an hour to and from school every day, I used to keep an eye on my odometer for numbers like 676767, 678876, or whatever, or when it would roll to the next 000 type number. What can I say…definitely a geeky kind of thing, but it’s so me, and it gave me something to focus on besides the road and the radio.
Your driving record must be impeccable;)
It damned near is–up until the last year or so. No tickets, but I managed to bang up my truck AND my husband’s in a period of about 6 months. Driving with sleep deprivation is NOT a good thing.
(And no, I didn’t watch the odometer constantly!
I should have said “in addition to the road and the radio.” )
It is now 11:11 on 1/11/01. Interesting huh?
OK, apparently my computer clock is a bit off from the SDMB clock. Oh well.
No, it is not 01-11-01.
It is 11-01-01. Or, technically, 11 January 2001.
(OK, so at this point it’s 12 January. But I like a good debate.)

Yeah, but when we found the new the era (to start with Cecil’s date of birth), we’ll have to figure this all over again.
