Tokyo in a day and a half.

I’m in Japan next month for a week on business. For most of the time I will be at a hotel/conference center in Yokohama. During that period I will have little time beyond a dinner or two out. After the work is done with I’ll be hopping on the train Sunday afternoon back to Tokyo and staying overnight there until my plane leaves Tuesday morning.

I’ve never been to Japan before. What are some sites worth checking out? Any activities worth trying? It will be me and one friend.

The Tsukiji fish market is mind blowing. It’s the wholesale fish market in Tokyo. Try to get there between 5AM and 9AM and make sure you don’t get hit by a forklift.

The Imperial Palace is pretty friggin’ awesome too. You can’t really enter it except for a small portion, but it’s well worth a look-see.
