I can’t say much about practicality, but I’ve cooked two of those bad boys since 2000 and came to the conclusion that I was paying for more than what I was getting. The steaks were good, I split them both with my wife, but they seemed a little pricey for what I got. If I was worried about making a fancy presentation I’d spring for one again. They sure do look good on the grill.
I did a google image search and apparently the ‘handles’ can be different sizes. The ones I’ve seen were long and flat.
