Tonights NBA Final--Julia Dale sings the National Anthem

I start this in Café Society because it’s a musical question/observation. It just happened to occur at a basketball game.

This is a 13 year old girl who sang the US National Anthem, and did it with great aplomb. Great range. On key. One of the harder songs for many adults to sing.

She’s been singing it for the Florida Marlins also.

What do you think?

BTW, this is her at age 12, a year ago.

I saw it too, and was quite impressed. Someone coached her well on the technique she needed for the venue, she didn’t stumble or lose pitch at all, that I noticed. Wonder if she’ll be well known as a talent 20 years from now?
