Blair recently stated that he will not give asylum to Saddam’s wife or daughters because they might have been involved in human rights abuses. Is there any evidence that they were? I don’t know. If anyone can provide cites that prove they were I’d be interested in reading them. Otherwise, if there isn’t, I believe they should be given asylum. Just because Saddam was an insane homicidal maniac doesn’t mean his wife and daughters were. What do you guys think? Should they be given asylum?

I think people should be judged as individuals. Anyone who did not order or participate in human rights abuses should be allowed to apply for asylum.
