Toolbelts

I’m in the market for a toolbelt that can hold a cordless drill. Strangely, most of the carpenter-type toolbelts don’t have a way to hold power tools - just a lot of pouches for screws, nails, pencils, etc and usually a hammer loop.

Alternate is to buy a “holster” for a drill and add it to an existing belt, assuming a pouch can be removed to make room. Normally, the pouches are easily taken off and re-arranged, so that’s not a problem.

I did find a toolbelt with the ludicrous name “Mullet Buster” at Amazon. Price is nice - $60, and it’s got a hook to hang a drill from. It’s also got suspenders so the lower back isn’t carrying all the weight. Anyone out there have one of these? At the moment, it’s the second-most popular toolbelt at Amazon, but nobody’s entered a user review yet. It also seems to be exclusive to Amazon as every other website that shows it is just a referral link to Amazon.

Here is a system from Europe that allows you to carry one of everything.
Holsters are listed at the bottom of the page.

Maybe it would help if I bothered to include the link

Yeah, that’s pretty much along the lines of the Mullet, although a little more gonzo with the pouches and pockets and rings and whatnot.

What I noticed about the “Skillers” rig is that the belt connects to the suspenders with plastic snap buckles. My experience with those things is that they’re not all that strong. I certainly wouldn’t want to trust a few hundred dollars worth of tools to them. Costs a chunk more, too.

Amazon’s pretty decent with returns in case I just don’t like it and don’t try to use it, so I guess I could get the Mullet just so I can get my hands on it, but I’m still hoping one of our members here has seen the thing. Sight unseen, I’m not sure what makes me more skittish - the price (compared to similar rigs in leather, this is very cheap) or the name and write-up. “Mullet Buster” is just silly, and it’ll put a ziing in my zang??
