Tooth's sore, but my arm too?

Just wondering, can nerves (for pain) firing off in one part of the body affect those in another? I got a filling in a week ago and the ache hasn’t worn off, before I head in to see the dentist about it, there was something I was wondering. Could I be getting a tingling sensation in my arm and a bit in my thumb from this too? It feels like it, the rest of my jaw from the back (site of the filling) up to the front is sore and a sensitive tooth at the very front has been fired off by it.

Its possible. All sorts of pains in one area can cause pains in other areas, and sometime w/otu any level of predictability.

Of course, there is also a chance an admin will tell you that med questions should be fielded by your doctor, so please direct such questions to your doc. Pain in the arm is also associated with heart attacks.

So, saving admins some keystrokes: SEE A DOCTOR.

Eep, I’m only 26! Its more like a tingling that was coming and going with the jaw ache, I just thought one was firing off the other. Seeing the dentist again Monday, hopefully one will vanish with the other
