I made a Top 10 list this year, something I don’t always do. I just felt like I had an easier time ranking movies this year and there were some clear stand-outs that were exceptional. As always, there are movies I have yet to see. I’ve seen only 70 movies released in 2023. The best were:
When Evil Lurks was the best movie I saw this year and if you have yet to see it, you should. It was absolutely stunning, shocking, and gripping from beginning to end. I was kind of blown away.
I started this thread. I hadn’t seen yours. I don’t know if a mod wants to merge them.
I prefer your OP, which doesn’t limit the list. I have at least a dozen movies I consider the “top” of my 2023 viewing and I expect to see at least 3 of the following before the end of the year (from the trailers I’ve seen, some of these could end up very high on my list), so I won’t post until the end of next week.
