I’m going old school classic here, in case you don’t mind my favorite albums are 30+ years old in some cases:

The Jam - All Mod Cons

The Kinks - *Village Green Preservation Society *

Damn you **An Arky ** - you always have great suggestions. If you can believe it, I haven’t invested a lot of time in either of these - and I am worse off for it. I am going to round them up based on this reminder…

My current old-school favorites in no particular order (there are about 20 CD’s that vie for Top 5 at any given time…):

• Sign O’ the Times, Prince
• What’s Goin’ On - Marvin Gaye
• Ziggy Stardust - Davie Bowie
• Highway to Hell - AC/DC
• Revolver - The Beatles

Please do! Classics both, though for the Jam I’m partial to their later stuff. The Kinks are the VGPS just can’t be beat.

Okay, it’s been almost two weeks now. I’m just wondering if this thread did anything to influence you into some new music. Often the Cafe is full of threads asking for opinions about something new. I’m wondering if these threads actually work. So? Huh? Yes?

Yes! I do already have many of the albums mentioned, but yes, my horizon has been broadened. I’m seeing Feist live tonight actually.
