Top 6@6 Supplemental Poll: Post Your 6 Favorite Tracks By Cheap Trick

Subtitled: It’s amazing how hoards of screaming Japanese girls can affect American culture

First: The Who’s, What’s, Where’s & Why’s of the Supplemental Poll

At Tit Whistle’s request & In an attempt to squeeze as many bands in the shortest amount of time possible, as a regular feature, The Monday 6 @ 6 Poll, includes a Headliner poll and a Supplemental poll. This Cheap Trick poll, like the featured Alice Cooper and the Alice In Chains headliner poll threads will be closed and tallied 7 days from today, Monday December 2, 2002 at or about 6PM EDT. Results from all 3 polls will be posted a few minutes later on that same day in Week #33’s regularly scheduled Clash 6@6 Poll.

Second: The Poll & How it Works

It’s simple enough, post your 6 favorite songs by the artist. Personal observations, opinions, liner notes, comments and the like are always welcome but are in no means required. You May include Cover Versions. If you specify Live version, it will be noted, but tallied together with the studio version of the same title.

Third: The Supplemental Poll Artist’s Discography

Since I requested it, I guess I should chime in:

  1. Hard To Tell - This is a reminder that their 1997 eponymous LP was their best in years.

  2. If You Want My Love - Seek out the alternate version with the extra bridge. It’s sublime.

  3. Gonna Raise Hell - Any live version of this is outstanding.

  4. Downed - Oft-overlooked track from In Color is a nice bit of darkness on an otherwise bright, pop album.
