You should’ve seen some of the 1993-94 plans from the San Juan bid to have the 2004 games. Ye gods… And in our case, our big piss-off is that there’s money for these silly PR projects, and there’s money to send 40 PUROC officials and their wives all over the world, but when our athletes have to improvise their hearts out to qualify and make it to the games, PUROC’s answer is: “the government needs to give US more money”
