For some reason I am invisiging Robbie Coltrane saying it in Goldeneye… but I am too lazy to get out the film and am doubtlessly wrong.
Haven’t read through to see if this was answered but in Blazing Saddles the quote is “Mongo is strong like bull”
Maybe Ahr-nee in Red Heat? :dubious:
Maybe Onatopp instead? :dubious:
As we used to say about our equipment operators: “strong like bull, smart like dumptruck.”
IMDB lists
“She’s strong like bull, smart like tractor” in Sanctum (2011)
Anthony Quinn in Zorba the Greek
This was at least 30 years ago, whatever that’s worth.
My weightlifting coach said it to us in 1979 with the Russian accent. So it could be that old.
Not that it matters, but the coach’s name was Jim Meyers aka George the Animal Steele.
I tried to edit to add - Maybe it came from professional wrestling? There have always been plenty of “Russian” bad guys.
Alas, I was too late.
Zombie thread is strong like bull.
I was wrong about Moscow on the Hudson - how about There’s Something About Mary, where the lead character reassures Mary that he has recovered from catching his dick in his zipper on prom night.

um… see post #1…
I just think it’s kind of humorous that you resurrected a thread from over 11 years ago with just 21 posts to it, but you didn’t have the time to read through to the end. “Shit! Better post now before someone else bumps it!”
The quote we’re looking for is “Make you strong, like bull”. As far as your quote goes, I can’t seem to find any verification for it.
My bram reboots every eleven years. Obviously that is either too often, or not often enough.
I also like shiny objects.
