Toughest Movie Quote Ever. Please Help!

Hey everyone. Ok…I have a very difficult challenge that has stumped me for years. I have searched the outer realms of the internet and still had no luck. Everyone I ask has only assumptions. Here is it:

“Make you strong, like bull!” (said in a russian accent)

Now, the information I did find that still isn’t 100% proof positive but is probably close. It was supposedly first used in The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. It was used in “There is Something About Mary” (Ben Stiller says it to Cameron Diaz). But thats not what I’m looking for.

I am trying to find out what movies this quote has been in. Hopefully, someone knows the movie I am trying to think of that it was in. Its very possible a woman said it. I am not so sure.

Everyone I ask knows the quote but doesn’t know where its from. :smack: Thank you for your time in advance.

Oh…and please, no guesses. Thanks!

According to one site:
In Rocky IV, Drago’s trainer says “He is strong, like bull.”

But I’m guessing that’s not the one you’re thinking of, because I could swear I’ve heard it somewhere else, too. That could be the origin of it, though (and other movies are referencing that quote).

You know, Im not sure if it is Rocky 4. I thought the same thing but everytime it was on I watched it and don’t remember ever hearing that quote. I specifically remember watching the part it would have been in when Dragos Trainer was talking to the TV crew about Drago and drago was showing his power but he never said it. Do you have the site that says it was that? Thanks!

That’s no fun…if we can’t guess. :-)…anyway, I know the quote, but can’t remember the name of the movie. IRC, it was said by a woman. I get a mental picture of her handing something over to someone to eat or drink and saying the line. I think it’s someone like Brigitte Nielson or Grace Jones…one of those big amazon women. Maybe that will jog someone’s memory…sorry i couldn’t be of more help.

What I’m picturing (could be totally wrong):

Woman With Heavy Eastern European accent serves something barely palatable to the Intrepid Hero. He looks at her increduously. She speaks The Unattestable Quote, something along the lines of, “Eat! Make you strong, like bull.”

I don’t know if that’ll jog anyone’s memory (or if it’s even at all correct), just thought it MIGHT help…

On the old Danny Thomas Show on television, “Make Room for Daddy,” the veteran character actor Hans Conried played the Lebanese Uncle Tonoose. I think it was grape leaves that made him strong, like bull.

Hi Lord Humungus, welcome to the boards.

I’ll move this for you. Please read the forum descriptions carefully before you post your next question.

Little Big Man?

Nah, that would be “Make you sit, like bull”.

Dang, biddee, I think that’s right, although I agree with jharmon in that I think it’s a Eastern-European or Russian woman.

I just got a co-worker in on the mystery. The quote rings a non-specific bell with him too! We’ll solve this mystery yet, Teen Angels!

Update: Co-worker thinks it’s, “Strong like bull. Fat like cow. I make good wife.” Now he’s just confusing the issue.

hahaha…thanks all for helping! I have been struggling with this monster for soooooooo long!

When I googled that, I found this site, with this quote:

Apparently Matka is some friend of the guy writing that site. I just find it very funny that it’s a page with Spurious George’s Co-worker’s version of the quote, SPOKEN BY A SLAVIC WOMAN!

There was a flick with Anthony Edwards…

Gotcha![/color], that’s it.

For some reason I think I recall hearing Linda Fiorentino say it, but I haven’t seen this one in years now.

She does speak in an Eastern European/Russian accent for most of the movie…

Schmuck. Lemme try that again.

Here’s the link for the movie.

bump

The “strong like bull” makes it sound like Robin Williams in Moscow on the Hudson. He is working as a chaffeur, but selling vitamins on the side, which make you SLB.

And he has a Russian accent in the movie.

Shodan

Yea…thats what i thought but i watched it and he never says it. He says “Give you d*ck of death”. Thanks though!

But I don’t want a dick of death! I want a dick of “hopelessly pleasure-enslaved hotties”!

Isn’t it the little kid in one of the Indiana Jones movies who says it? Temple of doom?

Short Round? “Strong bridge…”
