My wife’s favorite show. She knows each episode by heart and pulls me in to watch whenever a couple is displeased by the results.
Her favorite designer is the conservative gal with dark hair that frequently wears black. Ty’s pretty funny and Paige Davis is so naked in my dreams.
That’s Hildy. We have not seen much of her lately for some reason.
Amy Wynn would be wearing a tool belt and nothing else in my dreams, if I wasn’t happily married. 
Hildi got married and is spending most of her time in Paris (France, not Texas ;)), so she’s only available to do a few episodes this season.
Love the show - and also watch the BBC America version, Changing Rooms, which has less budget and is much funnier because they just slap some paint on whatever crap they find in the garage, nail it to the wall and call it art…they once used lime-green, furry toilet throw rugs to re-upholster a couple of chairs - now THAT was a classic.
On the American version, I am glad Laurie (redhead) left the show when she got pregnant. She was starting to get annoying. She did absolutly nothing, but was quick to take all the credit for everything, “my walls, my closets, my floor” but all you ever saw her do was trace a leaf on bedsheet and then call it a day. Plus, she was getting more and more “Hush ma mouth I’m a Suth’in Belle” as the shows went on…I did enjoy the episode where she bitched about the couple not doing their homework and “just going off to dinner.” She was in quite a snit that day!
Still, I agree - it’s like gawking at a car wreck - you just can’t turn away. Gee- think there will ever be Trading Spaces - the Movie.

For DC area dopers – Genevieve is going to be at The Fall Capital Home Show at the Dulles Expo Center (formerly Capital Expo Center) this weekend in Chantilly, VA.
