Trading Spaces?

The Wrong Girl, that’s what I was hoping for myself.

unwashed brain (actually “unused” seems more apt) you can take your “word usage police” right wing driveby and meet me in the Pit, or you can just shut up and go back to lurking- your choice.

:smack:

I’m not sure about this new Edward guy. His accent drives me crazy, and his slicked back hair is so last century. Personality wise, he’s like Christopher Lowell-lite. I’ll have to wait and see. I don’t miss Laurie’s frantic antics, but some of her designs were nice.

Wasn’t sure about him at the start myself, but I thought he really did a nice job with his last design, even though Ty kind of scewed him over on the work priority. He didn’t panic either (cough, cough – Doug).

I stopped watching once Alex McLeod left as host. Paige can’t hold a candle to Alex’s hotness.

I don’t understand why one would watch a design show solely because of the attractiveness of the host. Surely there are enough hotties on TV that one more or less makes no difference?

Besides which, Alex was annoying, smarmy, and no fun at all. She always seemed pissed off at something. Paige is… well, she’s chipper! And she’s nice to everybody, and seems to actually like being on the show.

Here here!!

Alex is not missed at all. Paige started out a bit too perky, but now she’s just part of the team. Fun show!

Munch come back! We miss you :frowning:

MrV, she was pissed off. She was pissed because she knew that even though she was travelling around the country, helping so many people out, she knew that her destined soulmate Munch would never appear because, alas, I rent an apartment.

I wouldn’t be any fun either if I knew I’d never meet me.

Oh, suuuuuuuuuure. And this is from the guy who said he watches Mutant X “mostly because of the cute boys.”

You’re crackling over the fire at this very moment, sweetheart.

Doug is such an ass. He never listens to the couples he works with. Everything has to be his way, and he sits back and does the easy stuff while the guests do the grunt work. Vern is much better. He’s laid back and very keen on designs.

Re: Playboy’s Women of Trading Spaces

How could that fail? The “repairman/woman” is one of the oldest porn cliches ever. Like in “The Big Lebowski” when the lady shows The Dude a porno and says “You can imagine what happens next”. He replies, “He fixes the cable?”

First of all…relax:rolleyes: Secondly, by queer, I mean that that show just has so much phony enthusiasm, it just makes my skin crawl sometimes…but I can never seem to change the channel until I see the final reaction. Sometimes it seems those people act happy for the show. Maybe they could hook 'em up to a lie detector to see how they really feel.
