I don’t buy or use their products, nor do I understand why this bugs me, but it does. You know the series of commercials where people call up the soup factory using “telephones” made of soup cans and wire, right?
There’s the one where a woman calls up to complain that her husband “looks like he did 20 years ago”. Then they cut to the husband, who’s also calling the soup people, telling them they should just tell his wife to stop worrying and enjoy the view. He’s wearing short green running shorts and white knee socks.
But try as I might, I can’t parse out what the wife is saying into the phone.
It sounds like:
“We love your Weight Watchers ‘Endor’ soups, but my husband looks like he did 20 years ago.”
My wife thinks it’s “And/Or”, but that doesn’t seem right either.
What the heck is she saying? What’s an endor soup?
