And the column is Where do they get the blood for animal blood transfusions?.
spodino el rio, do you mean that they were using the blood for other fox hounds, or for horses? It’d be very interesting if the latter is the case; dogs and horses aren’t all that closely related.

We recommend for optimal safety to the recipient that both the species and the blood type be properly matched. It’s also important to screen the blood before transfusion to avoid infecting recipients with blood-borne diseases (exactly as with humans).
