Howdy Y’all! I’ve defilthyfied the cave, baked cookies, prepped peppers and onions for dindin and had a nap. My kitchen smells like cookies, peppers and onions. Really strange yet nice smell. 
I’m proud of my productivity. I say it calls for a beerverage or two.
Special1 that is not a weekend. That is work plus bein’ a nanny. Yay for the Specialteens good report cards. I like the idea of you findin’ Muppet’s Israeli nemesis and givin’ him a slap upside the haid with a wet trout and sayin’ “that’s from my Canadian imaginary over teh internets friend.”

Thanks for all the wishes, folks. Today, I achieve the double nickel. My daughter informed me that at the museum where she used to work, I now qualify for the senior discount. Rotten kids… 
Daughter and son-in-law want to take me out for my b-day, but honestly, I’m exhausted and I don’t want to go out. I may just ask them to get some takeout so I can lounge around tonight. I didn’t get to sleep till after 11, and of course, wake up is at 5… <yawn>
Class was kind of a waste yesterday, IMHO. I sorta sketched out what I want to do for a couple of my projects and tried to figure out a couple more. Tuesday, I’ll finally get my hands into some clay. Or maybe this weekend. I absolutely *have to finish *cleaning and organizing it.
I had to get my CAC (gov’t ID) renewed today, then had to get it into the system at work so I could access the classified and unclassified networks. That killed almost 2 hours total. But I’m now good till 2012, so yay for that. And apparently, Monday is moving day. The idiot in charge of it only sent messages to her people, not to everyone having to move. If the girl getting my cube hadn’t stopped by, I would never have known. eeeeesh. So I move away from my window on Monday. I am not happy about that. 
Lovely day - sunny and low 50s. It won’t last, but it’s lovely just the same. Glad it’s the weekend - I’s tahred! Hugs all around, because I’s too tahred to comment to everyone. But ya knows I luvs ya! MWAH!
Lunch, your gentlemanly offer to school my Israeli nemesis is much appreciated, but since our vendor has flown him over to Canada for the next couple of weeks, I’ll just have to handle my own trout-slapping. Sounds like you’re awful busy anyways, so I’d hate to impose.

I’ve decided to comfort myself with a giant slab of carrot cake and a moratorium on all things related to moronic programmers. It seems to be taking the edge off my frustration.
MMMMMMMMMMMMM… da cave smells of pepper steak. I have the peppers, onions and steak all slow simmerin’ in the slow cooker.
Plus, I am chanelling LiLI again. I baked cookies earlier and I just put a buttermilk pie in the oven.
The kids are taking us out tomorrow instead. PapaJohn is making supper tonight. They’re picking it up. Yay - I can stay in.
mmmmmmmmmmmm buttermilk pie is teh yum! Even if it’s just a tad rich. <drool>

I decided to try a different arrangement of pillows last night just because. It was the wrong combo, because I have not been able to move my head more than a centimeter in any direction. Getting in and out of my car today was a chore. Every little move I made somehow reverberaated in the spasm on the left-back of my neck

Shortly I will take a muscle relaxant, a Vicoden, and a Mike’s, and slap on a capsaicin patch. That ought to do the trick.

Really cool inauguration picture. This guy pasted together a bunch of pictures (read his explanation.) It’s a panoramic picture, but you can zoom in and see all kinds of detail. When you get close, you have to give it a couple of seconds to finish resolving to be able to see people clearly. Extremely cool.
Tired, but happy it’s Firday. Finishing my scarf (it’s about a million feet long).
I like Amy, too. She’s often a panelist on Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me and is dependably clever and entertaining.

Morning all. YAAAWWWWNNNN! HRH woke up at 1:30am and refused to go back to sleep until 3am - no particular reason! And then she had the audacity to wake up again at 6:45am; her eyes are falling out of her head, as are mine! Double yaaawwwwwnnnn!

Okay, off to make some scrambled eggs and stumble through the rest of the day.
The good news: I passed the re-test. I was told I think too much, and I’m disorganized, but I new my stuff. Now I can register or the certfying exam.
The bad news: I had to blow off meeting Spaz, because I wasn’t the only one testing, and we ran late. I did talk to her, however, and she was delightful.
Back to bed. I have Fire School today and tomorrow.

I’m up early, thanks to a barky little doggie who had to make noise about 5:30. She must die.
Daughter is enroute to the high school in her district - she may or may not proctor this morning’s SATs. Last time, she was extra, so she was paid $21 for driving over there. If they use her, I think the fee is $100. Anyway, she’s probably going to get there any minute now.
My plans for the day? Laundry and studio organizing. I also need to come up with a sketch for my first project in class. I know what I want to do for projects 2 & 3, but she wants them done in order. So I have to design a 3-part sculpture or useable object that’s at least 18" tall. It can be geometric or organic. I was thinking maybe I’d make a lamp base…
Incidentally, the chocolate cake the kids brought me was chocolate overload. I think it might be why I had a tough time falling asleep - I was on a sugar rush! Maybe I need some of that for breakfast??

My back is better this morning. I turned the electric blanket on high and laid on top of it instead of under it for awhile last night.
Today is another exciting day of work at the Marketplace. I predict few customers due to it being only 17F outside right now. Oh well. At least I’ll have lots of clay to play with while I’m there. And if I’m really lucky, I’ll be able to latch onto a stray internet connection!
