So I was wondering what a good treatment would be for rope burn on ones ankles. I thappened two days ago and whenever I move my feet of legs at all it still hurts like crzy. Im leaving for work soon, and thats going to involve alot of walking. Any suggestions?

I guess staying home from work’s not an option, then.
That very popular cream, which of course I can’t remember the name of, work’s pretty good. You see their ads all the time, claiming that cuts heal faster with the product. It’s pretty much true. One version has a topical pain killer. That’s the one you want. Maybe someone else knows the brand.
You do realize that rope burn is more an abrasion than a true burn, right?
Not much help. I know. I do sympathize with you, having had the same type of injury myself.
Neosporin? Could be.
Peace,

No neosporin isnt doing it.
True rope burn is a real burn (according to a nurse at the doctors office), most people get a rope abrasion and call it rope burn-this is somewhere in between. Its basically when the skin stretches, so im thinking maybe glycerin…
Buy a bottle of Vitamin E capsules. Stick a pin in the capsule and smear the oil into the burn. It works great for burns and getting rid of scars. (Don’t buy a bottle of oil from the cosmetic section, it’s too dilute.)
