Having just finished watching Tremors for probably the 20th time, so I could pay special notice to her line, I agree with you.

Y’know, thinking about it just now, Tremors is really a perfect little movie. I wouldn’t change a thing about it.
…and the only thing I’d change about Tremors 2 is I’d add Kevin Bacon.
Yeah, but this is one of those cases where I prefer my mondegreen to the actual line.

Tremors really is a nearly perfect movie except for that one weird ass plot device where the heroes are prevented from driving to safety, and to get help, by a tiny little rockslide. On a desert road. There wasn’t even a ditch by the roadside, just a flat desert, they could have driven around without even hitting the brakes.
It’s even more outrageous if you happen to know the area where it was filmed, but we don’t care-- its just another delightful bit of Monster Movie silliness.
