It is amazing if it is true. I googled on “Tyler Lott Armstrong” and found a birth announcement and a flim credits page. There are no other cites that I can find.
I find it hard to believe that this would go unnoticed by the press given the mess Lott is in now. Untill I see it reported by a source that I trust I’m going to take it with a grain of salt.
Upon further examination, this may not withstand scrutiny. Look at the “Background” description at the bottom of that page, which states as follows:
So basically, Barrett just showed up and hijacked a press conference held by Lott’s press secretary. The involvement of Lott’s daughter is rather less than clear in this, and I can’t imagine that she would be crazy enough to show up with this gatecrasher to criticize her father as being too soft on the darkies.
I am glad that you ain’t buying it. Until there is a credible source it is, IMHO, a non story.
[slight hijack] At the same time I have a question. In your first response to my post you said that I should have googled Lotts biography. Unless I am reading your post incorrectly it seems that you think that I didn’t believe that Lotts daughter was involved. I never said or implied that. I stated that when I googled I could not find a valid source that would back up the story cited in the OP. I never claimed that the woman in question was not Lotts daughter. I questioned whether the original cite was valid.
Slee, I thought you mean you couldn’t find “Tyler Lott Armstrong” in your Google search. I was just confirming that, indeed, he has a daughter named Tyler. No snottiness intended, and hopefully none implied.
