My brother is on assignment in NYC, and he is pondering spending some well earned cash in Chinatown. One of his friends said that he got like 3 Tag Heuer watches for 50 dollars a piece. Having never been there, is this sort of thing feasible, or are they most likely a bunch of vendors with imitations?

50 clams for a fake watch is pretty steep. If you act like you don’t want it (or actually don’t want it) and try to walk away without one, the price tends to drop pretty fast- sometimes below 20 clams. I’m a fan of the fake Rolexes (Rolexum?) myself.
