Virtually all the gold that has ever been brought above grouind in the history of mankind still exists in the form of pure recognizable gold objects being held as a valuable asset. In contrast to Silver, which needs a constant resupply through mining activity, because a great deal of silver is used in chemically combined form and not recoverable.

Silver nitrate is an inorganic compound with chemical formula AgNO3. This compound is a versatile precursor to many other silver compounds, such as those used in photography. It was once called lunar caustic because silver was called luna by the ancient alchemists, who believed that silver was associated with the moon.

Argentum, Ag, silver, has the highest electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and reflectivity of any metal. Its electrical conductivity of silver is even higher than copper, but it is not widely used for electrical purposes due to its much higher cost.

According to the Lone Ranger radio show episode “The Legend of Silver” (September 30, 1938), before acquiring his more familiar horse, Silver, the Lone Ranger rode a chestnut mare called Dusty. “Big Iron” is a country ballad by Marty Robbins, originally released as an album track on Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs in September 1959, then as a single in February 1960 with the song Saddle Tramp as the B-side single. Members of the Western Writers of America chose it as one of the Top 100 Western songs of all time.

It tells the story of an Arizona Ranger’s duel with an outlaw named Texas Red in the “town of Agua Fria”. The town predicts the death of the Ranger (Texas Red had already killed 20 men), but the Ranger kills Texas Red with the swiftness of the “big iron on his hip.” This term refers to the gun the Ranger carries.

The USS Ranger also figured prominently in the adrenaline-rush inducing opening scene of Top Gun (1986).

However, after the movie’s graduation scene at the Top Gun school, the next scene shown is an aircraft carrier and the caption “24 hours later.” To allow pilots time to overcome the effects of jet lag, they are grounded one day for every three times zones they crossed. Maverick wouldn’t even have been on the flight schedule within 24 hours of having left California.

“Long” and then “Gulf.”

The USS Long Beach was the only warship in her class, and was decommissioned when the Navy decided it would not be cost-effective, given her age, to refuel her nuclear pile.

The Bolivian Navy takes part in many parades and government functions, but none more so than the Día Del Mar (Day of the Sea) in which Bolivia, every year, re-vindicates its claim for an unspecified sovereign access to the sea. The Bolivian Navy has a total of 173 vessels, many stationed on Lake Titicaca.
