Bald eagles build nests called aeries. When they migrate north for summer and south for winter, they occupy the same aeries each time. Aeries can be quite large. Of all birds in the world, Bald Eagles hold the record for the biggest nest ever built. One aerie in Florida was 6.1 meters deep, 2.9 meters wide, and weighed 2,722 kg (almost 3 tons).

Men who are bald have high levels of testosterone is, sadly, a myth. Hair loss is caused by a greater sensitivity of hair follicles in some parts of the scalp to DHT (dihydrotestosterone), rather than to increased levels of testosterone per se. DHT causes genetically-susceptible hair follicles to shrink (miniaturize) and eventually disappear.
Rats.
According to bignaturaltesticles.com, the self-proclaimed Ultimate Testosterone Guide, Napoleon Bonaparte, Adolf Hitler and Arnold Schwarzenegger were all reported to have only one testicle.
Also, if you squeeze a man’s testicles firmly enough, he’ll black out. Hit them with enough force, and you’ll sterilize him for life. And finally, a man feels testicle trauma inside his belly region because the nerve ending leading away from his testicles are attached to his stomach.
Neuticles are prosthetic testicular implants for neutered dogs and other domestic animals. Creator Gregg Miller won the 2005 Ig Nobel Prize in Medicine, a parody of the real Nobel Prize, for his invention. Miller developed the idea for Neuticles in 1993, after his bloodhound Buck caught the scent of a bitch in heat, disappeared and turned up days later 30 miles away. Miller had Buck neutered to stop his wandering. Following the procedure, when Buck went to clean himself, he realized something was wrong and acted “extremely depressed” for three days.
Awarded Ig Nobel Prizes are presented by real Nobel Laureates. The 26th First Annual Ig Nobel Prize ceremony will happen on Thursday, September 22, 2016, at Sanders Theatre, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Tickets will go on sale in July.

Yale leads Harvard in The Game, 65–59–8.
The Big Game, the annual Cal-Stanford football game, is the oldest football rivalry on the west coast. It was first played in 1892, and Stanford leads the rivalry with a 61-46-11 record, including 6-0 in the last six games played. In terms of number of games played, however, the Big Game has one fewer game than the Civil War game between Oregon and Oregon State. That is because the Civil War games were played during WWI and WWII while the Big Game took breaks. The Civil War was first played in 1894.
The Guardia Civil was formed in 1844, and is now an 80-thousand-man force that patrols rural Spain. It ws originally formed to combat brigands and highwaymen, who made travel difficult in Spain. Their authority is replaced by urban police in cities large enough to support their own law enforcement.
The cave of Altamira in northern Spain contains some of the world’s finest examples of Paleolithic art, with bisons, horses and mysterious signs painted and carved into the limestone as far back as 22,000 years ago. In 2002 the cave was closed to the public when mold appeared on some paintings. The damage was attributed to the presence of visitors and the use of artificial light to help them see the works. Instead, a museum with a replica of the cave and its paintings was created for visitors.
Mammoth Cave, located in Kentucky, is the longest cave system known in the world. It is known to include more than 390 miles of passageways, with new discoveries and connections adding several miles to this figure each year.

Found in Abkhazia, the Krubera Cave is the only known cave on Earth deeper than 2000 meters. Abkhazia is a disputed territory in the Republic of Georgia. “Google Maps could not find Krubera Cave”. The coordinates are about 15 km from the nearest mapped feature.
The most visited natural attraction in New York state is Niagara Falls, and the second most visited is Howe Caverns in Howes Caves, near Cobleskill and Schoharie, about 40 miles west of Albany and about midway between Albany and the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Howe Caverns is named after Farmer Lester Howe, who discovered the cave on May 22, 1842.
Secret Caverns is another cave attraction about a mile from Howe Caverns. For many years, there was a feud between the two. Howes had far more advertising, with billboard as far as 100 miles from the site. Secret Caverns had fewer billboards, but they promoted their “100-foot tall underground waterfall” on all of them. Howe Caverns used to scoff at that claim in their tours (a 100-foot-tall underground waterfall with a 60-foot ceiling"). Later, Secret Caverns promoted itself with weird psychedelic themed billboards. There were small vandalisms on both parts and things got so bad that when there was a fire at Secret Caverns, they pointed a finger at Howe (they weren’t involved).
Back in 2007, though, the two started working together. Now the Secret Caverns web page mentions Howe Caverns as another place to visit in the area.
The tallest known cave waterfall, in Vrtoglavica Cave in Slovenia, has at least a 400 m (~1200 ft) drop. One of the more famous (and accessible) large underground waterfalls is at Ruby Falls in Chattanooga, Tennessee (USA) at 145 feet.
In L. Frank Baum’s famous book “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”. Dorothy wears silver shoes and clicks the heels together for magic effect. The idea of ruby shoes originated 39 years later with the technicolor film version of the story.
