Wool was the foundation of the English economy in the Middle Ages - to the point that the seat for the Lord Chancellor when presiding as Lord Speaker in the House of Lords was literally a bale of wool, called the Woolsack. The Woolsack is now more formally designed than the original bale of wool, and contains wool from all the countries in the Commonwealth. Off-Game:
Quite correct. I should have written “the Labrador region of the modern-day Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.” Mea culpa.
[/QUOTE]
No. The Labrador region had been part of the Province of Lower Canada, but was returned to the Colony of Newfoundland in 1809, by an Act of the British Parliament, 49 Geo. III, cap. 27 which provided that:
Labrador was thus not part of the Province of Canada, nor of the Dominion of Canada, until Newfoundland’s entry into Confederation in 1949.

Jonny Quest – often casually referred to as The Adventures of Jonny Quest – is an American science fiction/adventure cartoon TV series about a boy who accompanies his father on extraordinary adventures. It was produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions for Screen Gems, and ran on ABC in prime time on early Friday nights for one season in 1964–65.
Jonny, his Indian friend Hadji, and maybe even their dog Bandit are all suspected today of having been victims of pedophiles Race Bannon, the group’s special agent / bodyguard / pilot assigned for Jonny’s “protection” by Intelligence One, and of Jonny’s father Dr. Benton Quest.

The Indiana Hoosiers men’s basketball team, from Indiana University, has won five NCAA championships, most recently in 1986. They last reached the title game in 2002, and returned to the tournament after a several-year absence last year, making it to the third round.
Hoosiers is a 1986 movie about Indiana high school basketball and a small town high school team that wins the Indiana state championship. It is one of the best “Cinderella” sports stories of all time.
Hoosiers is loosely based on the true story of the Milan High School Indians (Milan High School, 609 North Warpath Drive, Milan, IN). It is a fictionalized, single-season account of Milan’s two basketball seasons, 1952-53 when a new coach replaced the popular Herman “Snort” Grinstead, and 1953-54 when Milan won the championship. Milan’s coach was Marvin Wood (Norman Dale, played by Gene Hackman in the movie), and their best player was Bobby Plump (Jimmy Chitwood, played by Maris Valainis).
Milan, in the southeastern part of the state, is closer to Cincinnati OH than to Indianapolis. With an enrollment of only 161, the Indians were the smallest school ever to win a single-class state basketball title in Indiana. After Milan won the championship game, 40,000 people descended on Milan (population: 1,150) the next day as the team returned home from Indianapolis, lining Highway 101 for 13 miles to congratulate the Indians.

The loss to Milan was the last of then-sophomore Oscar Robertson’s high school career, as his Attucks team went on to undefeated seasons and the Indiana state championship the next two years. As an NBA player with the Cincinnati Royals, he *averaged *a triple double (at least 10 points, rebounds, and assists in a game) in the 1961-62 season, the only player ever to accomplish that feat.
Oscar Robertson, “The Big O”, won an NBA championship when his 1971 Milwaukee Bucks, led by him and Hall of Fame center Lew Alcindor, swept the Baltimore Bullets 4-0.
