Lawrence Oates, member of the Scott Antarctic expedition, was suffering from gangrene and frostbite. Scott records that Oates realised that the need to care for him was endangering the other members of the expedition, so he got up, said “I am just going outside and may be some time,” and left the tent.
He was never seen again.

The Lion of Judah is also a phrase used in the Book of Revelation to represent Jesus.

He was the heir to a dynasty that traced its origins by tradition from King Solomon and Queen Makeda, Empress of Axum, known in the Abrahamic tradition as the Queen of Sheba.
