The New River Gorge Bridge near Fayetteville, West Virginia was the highest vehicular road bridge in the world from 1977 to 2004, when it was surpassed by the Millau Viaduct in France.

The most drastic changes during the geologic formation of the Columbia River Gorge took place at the end of the last Ice Age when the Missoula Floods cut the steep, dramatic walls that exist today, flooding the river as high up as Crown Point.

Since prosecutions in Canada are conducted in the name of Her Majesty, prosecutors are colloquially referred to as “the Crown.”

The name “Crown Victoria” was first used by Ford for a 1955 version of the Fairlane.

Victoria Day in Canada usually falls on the third Monday in May. It is a holiday in nine of the provinces to commemorate the birthday of Queen Victoria. The exception is Quebec, where the holiday is the Journée des patriotes, to commemorate the rebellion of 1837 against Her Majesty’s rule.

The Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor was manufactured from 1992 to 2011. From 1997 and into the early 2010s, the Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor was the most widely used automobile in law enforcement operations in the United States and Canada.

Many American police departments, including that of Cleveland, Ohio, are phasing out their Crown Victoria patrol cars and replacing them with upgraded Dodge Challengers.

There have been three different generations of the Dodge Challenger beginning in 1959.

The Dodge motor company was originally the Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge. The company was sold to Chrysler in 1928.

In 1979, folk singer Tom Paxton wrote "I’m Changing My Name to Chrysler, about the federal bailout of the Chrysler auto company.oved the original, with the chorus:

I am changing my name to Chrysler
I am going down to Washington D.C.
I will tell some power broker
What they did for Iacocca
Will be perfectly acceptable to me
I am changing my name to Chrysler
I am headed for that great receiving line
So when they hand a million grand out
I’ll be standing with my hand out
Yes sire I’ll get mine.

As far as I know, this is the only time Lee Iacocca’s name has been used as a song rhyme.

Administrative law is the body of law governing the administration of government programs. In the US, administrative law is largely statutory, but in many Commonwealth countries, it has its roots in the common law and the royal prerogative writs, such as certiorari, mandamus and prohibition.

The Commonwealth of England began with the beheading of King Charles I and ended with the beheading of Oliver Cromwell. (Mr. Cromwell had been dead for over two years when his head was removed.)

Bart Simpson’s prank phone calls to Moe’s Tavern (which involved asking for fictitious customers by name, such as Hugh Jass, Mike Rotch, and Oliver Clothesoff) were inspired by the infamous Tube Bar Prank Calls, which were popular on the underground tape-trading circuit in the mid-1970’s.
