Heh. I don’t need to check IMDB; Jack Kruschen and Julie Newmar qualify.
There’s one other.
Ida Lupino.
Was Roddy McDowell one of the correct answers, then? I was honestly guessing on that.
While this thread is alive again, I thought I’d repost two of my questions that never did get answered.
Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines or How I Flew from London to Paris in 25 Hours and 11 Minutes and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. (The first in a plane, the second in an airship.)
He was: as The Bookworm, and as, uh, The Heir Using Exploding Cigars.
(Incidentally, I realized too late that there’s arguably a third correct answer, though not for the reason 74westy gave: the animated BATMAN VS TWO-FACE wound up giving the roles to Adam West and Columbo foe William Shatner.)
And I’m sure you’re just not saying it, but he flew with his gold-smuggling Rolls Royce across the Channel in Goldfinger, too.
I don’t feel these questions regarding Batman/Columbo/whatever crossover guest stars are all that amazing.
Pick any two shows that ran a non-trivial amount of time in roughly the same era and there will be acting crossovers. So having two or more is nothing special.
I take your point, but the restriction that they played the villain or victim reduces the number somewhat. Without that, there’s maybe 20 actors with sizeable roles in both shows, and about 90 if you include bit parts.
What action movie star of the 1980s had one of his early roles with a non-speaking part in an adaptation of a Raymond Chandler story?
What country’s President lives in a mansion with a color in its name?
You’re half right if you guessed “Casa Rosada” (Pink House) in Buenos Aires (Argentina).
Weirdly, I just learned today that there is a third answer: the president of South Korea’s residence is called the Blue House in English.
What major Hollywood star of action films has a star on the Hollywood walk of Fame, just like another major Hollywood star of action films with the same name?
Actually this one only has one answer. Or, rather, it has two answers, but they’re the same. But they’re two different unrelated people.
Which character did Scott Bakula play longer, Sam Beckett or Jonathan Archer?
(I wrote this as a deliberate trick question for a trivia contest once.)
If you could reword the question to “Which country’s leader lives in a colored house?” then you could also include the Netherlands, whose leader is of the House Orange-Nassau.
Arkhangelsk? Just to fool the archaeologists of the future, still full of doubt about the exact date Arkhangelsk became the 12th most populous city on the planet.
In what early 2000s movie does Keira Knightley play a spunky young Englishwoman named Elizabeth?
What band did UK singer/composer Ian Anderson lead?
Who played the reigning queen of Westeros in Game of Thrones season 8 and Sarah Connor in the Terminator franchise?
World famous man born on Feb. 12, 1809?
Charles Darwin and Abraham Lincoln
