Trivia questions which, amazingly, have two answers

Cool find, both the video and the trivia connection. I remember Judy from Room 222. Never saw her Electra Girl show but I’ve seen that it’s available on YouTube.

Who is the only character in Batman: Hush voiced by Peyton List?

Peyton List voiced Batgirl, and a different actress also named Peyton List voiced Poison Ivy.

I thought SAG-AFTRA rules prevented situations like that.

Per Wiki:

Union SAG-AFTRA’s policy prohibits actors with the same name; however, this instance of identical professional names went unnoticed due to the older List using her middle name to sign up with SAG-AFTRA and the younger one using her first name.

Obviously SAG-AFTRA’s policies can’t affect people acting before they were around.

When I first visited LA and saw the Walk of Fame I thought it odd that Harrison Ford already had a star there. It was 1980 and he hadn’t been in enough significant movies to have earned one – it would be another year before he appeared in Raiders of the Lost Ark. What I didn’t realize was that this star was for a different Harrison Ford, who had been an action-adventure star back in the silent era (he only made one talkie). He got his star on Feb 8, 1960, three years after his death.

The other Harrison Ford got his star on May 30, 2003. The two men weren’t related. And I’m amazed that two actors with stars on the Walk of Fame have the same unlikely name. How many “Harrisons” do you know?

From the Oracle of Bacon:

Harrison Ford appeared in Rubber Tires in 1927 with Bessie Love

Bessie Love appeared in Ragtime in 1981 with Burnell Tucker

Burnell Tucker appeared in The Empire Strikes Back in 1980 with Harrison Ford

They both have Hollywood stars:

What is the date of the 18-inning World Series Game 3 won by the LA Dodgers on a walk-off HR by a first baseman where Brad Paisley sang the national anthem?

There was a similar situation with Winston Churchill. Early in his life, he sometimes had to identify himself as Winston Spencer Churchill or the British Winston Churchill. Because back in the beginning of the 20th century, the famous Winston Churchill was the best-selling American author.

Nice one! I assumed it was a trick question, as Game 3 spanned 2 days. But no! Legit good one!

True. The politician-soldier Winston Churchill wrote to the other one after he’d published his first book:

Mr. Winston Churchill presents his compliments to Mr. Winston Churchill, and begs to draw his attention to a matter which concerns them both. He has learnt from the Press notices that Mr. Winston Churchill proposes to bring out another novel, entitled Richard Carvel, which is certain to have a considerable sale both in England and America. Mr. Winston Churchill is also the author of a novel now being published in serial form in Macmillan’s Magazine, and for which he anticipates some sale both in England and America. He also proposes to publish on the 1st of October another military chronicle on the Soudan War. He has no doubt that Mr. Winston Churchill will recognise from this letter — if indeed by no other means — that there is grave danger of his works being mistaken for those of Mr. Winston Churchill. He feels sure that Mr. Winston Churchill desires this as little as he does himself. In future to avoid mistakes as far as possible, Mr. Winston Churchill has decided to sign all published articles, stories, or other work, ‘Winston Spencer Churchill’, and not ‘Winston Churchill’ as formerly. He trusts that this arrangement will commend itself to Mr. Winston Churchill, and he ventures to suggest, with a view to preventing further confusion which may arise out of this extraordinary coincidence, that both Mr. Winston Churchill and Mr. Winston Churchill should insert a short note in their respective publications explaining to the public which are the works of Mr. Winston Churchill and which those of Mr. Winston Churchill. The text of this note might form a subject for future discussion if Mr. Winston Churchill agrees with Mr. Winston Churchill’s proposition. He takes this occasion of complimenting Mr. Winston Churchill upon the style and success of his works, which are always brought to his notice whether in magazine or book form, and he trusts that Mr. Winston Churchill has derived equal pleasure from any work of his that may have attracted his attention.

On Nov 18th, this Washington football QB broke his right tibula and fibula on the 39 yard line in a home game with the final score of 23-21, tackled by a 3-time Defensive Player of the Year winner.

You forgot to mention that one of the contributing factors in this injury was the Pro Bowl left tackle was not on the field due to his own injury.

I thought that made it too wordy.

Which male lead in One Battle After Another has a last name that translates as “of the” followed by a barnyard animal?

Do you mean the actor or character? Like DiCaprio meaning “of the goat”?

Yes - actor, not character.

Very good! Plus, I learned something.
