He is trying now to make it fly that guys like James Cartville and Bill Maher are the “ultra left”. Well… any chance to show how deeply ignorant damur is about the politics of today. And he is doubling down on supporting people that will push for more ignorance in schools, because if they support bigotry, that is the only “good” thing that he is looking for in an appointee.
A new poster bumped a 10-year old MPSIMS thread about penis pumps (“Found a strange thing in my bathroom (less than SFW)”) with a wall of text about how much she loves penis pumps. I kept looking for the spam link, but it’s just text. A lot of text.
Maybe the link is coming next? Maybe she just really really loves penis pumps? I can’t wait for post #2.

I see that the Russian troll Kedikat has currently completely taken over the “Russia Invades Ukraine” thread. Among his many posts (and I do mean “many”) we learn many interesting things, like how Russia’s “invasion” of Ukraine was a perfectly justified defensive action, and also what a wonderfully fine fellow Putin is, much beloved by all Russians. Our resident Russian troll apparently has a pretty low opinion of any Doper who can’t see this.
No kidding. I’ll be happy when they go away.
I have the Poo Tin fan on ignore, but I keep seeing responses from other posters to his shitty posts. Just report the posts as political and clear the MPSIMS thread for breaking news.

I’m afraid I must abstain. I don’t see enough of Octo’s posts to be able to formulate an opinion.
I mean, I have all his posts on ignore, and no exchange around his posts has ever seemed worth sneaking a peek at. Has he ever made a substantive post?
Sure, yeah, rarely, in FQ and IMHO and sometimes GD. Probably P&E too, I don’t really follow most of the American-centric threads on there. But that’s very rarely, nowadays. Completely, massively outnumbered by posts in ATMB and the Pit, none of which I would characterize as “substantive”, as well as plenty of GD and IMHO posts that are pretty much indistinguishable from their ATMB postings.
Meh, I neither follow Octo nor do I have it on ignore. I think we have a fair balance here – Octo constantly references the alleged “hive mind” of the SDMB, while in turn, “the hive” posts recipes for calamari. Seems fair.

I once tried to mock Jim B by posting Victorian jokes, just to hint that he might want to focus on the current era. It backfired. He thought they were funny and posted more.
