If you really really need to talk about women’s-only spaces, i suggest you restrict yourself to talking about restricting the access of cis men, and being consistent in referring to them as such, not using potentially confusing language like “MEN”, which might lead posters to think you might be including trans women in your comments.

I was worried someone would bring up the past incel thread, since shortly before it petered out, there was talk about whether it was / was not bigoted for various flavors of male identifying individuals to select against AMAB females when it came to not being able to get a date.
I’m probably not putting it as well as I could, because I’m on break, but the point was that it would give YWTF yet another way to yell at those whose gender identity is not the same as assigned at birth.
Maybe she wasn’t trolling before, but she certainly is now with all the “I’m not misgendering anyone, I’m just defining ‘man’ to exclude trans men” responses and “questions”.
Not to mention rules lawyering. You know, asking ecg if those guidelines are rules.
You can’t stop evil by ignoring its existence. As annoying as you are, you seem to at least avoid blatant bigotry and hatred. You’re not actually causing harm.
The same can’t be said for TERFs.
Look at the language debate concerning transfolk. When I was younger, I used what would be considered hateful language concerning transfolk using terms I won’t repeat here because they are very disrespectful. Communication, with folks such as the people here and elsewhere plus general maturity changed the way I think and communicate about marginalized folks. That said, it is legitimate to debate language, perceptions, participation in sports, etc. and not everyone is going to reach the same conclusion over time much less at the same time. Censorship and denial of other people’s reality is in the long term counterproductive.

Dispute? You all are trying to drive away and demonize someone over a language issue. That’s petty and immature.
It is a rules issue, and when it comes to rules you may discuss whether they are right or not, but you do NOT just ignore them.

You may be technically correct in describing this as a “language issue”, but only in the misleading sense that almost everything is a language issue. Let’s be clear here - this is someone who has participated extensively in the debate, understands the issues, and has then made a deliberate and informed decision to use language in a bigoted manner against a marginalized group.
Also (paraphrasing) how dare we object to YWTF rejecting our reality and substituting her own!
Seems like she sees that there is a difference between trans and cis. If there were no difference such modifiers would serve no utility correct?
