I did too the first time. It wasn’t until I went back and re-read the post that I got it.
I tweaked it, but dammit, I knew what I meant when I typed it. 
I totally feel ya there. I don’t know how many times I’ve looked back at an old comment and wished I could fix it to say what I meant instead of what I said.

Seems clear to me that chappachula is trolling the Ukraine thread. I find it very hard to believe that they actually believe Russia, with it’s failed logistics and pathetic equipment, has more reserves in equipment than Ukraine plus Europe plus the US plus several other countries. I’m glad they were moderated but it’s more than just a hijack at this point - it’s trolling. They should be thread banned IMO.
I think this is it. It’s a genuinely different world view that is not bothered with actual facts and reality. I find it interesting to see because I almost never interact with anyone that far gone into the right-wing disinformation sphere.

I don’t think so. Just really, really pessimistic for some reason. Doom and gloom all the time on some topics. Not just within normal bounds but beyond the evidence of our eyes irrational. If even half of his predictions over the last year had come to pass, Russia would have won a dozen times over by now. Some people would take that as a sign to reconsider, but this is the internet, after all.
Also swore up and down a few years ago Trump would absolutely win in 2020 and that has since changed to Trump winning in 2024.
