No need to wonder. He’s coming from Trump land. He said in one post that he “doesn’t really follow politics” but virtually all of his posts here have been political and he’s clearly pro-Trump. I have no problem with conservative viewpoints but Trumpism isn’t conservatism and this guy is a full-on Trumpist. Makes one wonder why he chose to join this particular board if not to troll. He also started one non-political thread in GD which not only wasn’t a debate, it wasn’t anything – it was complete gibberish. So, either a moron or a hard drug user. Yes, I know – “why not both?”
Not seeing the trolling. Looks more like a mild disagreement of reasons. Mr 88 on the other hand went full-on troll this weekend and was a returning troll. One of our regular trocks.
Putting this here as opposed to their currently quiescent Pit thread, but I felt Bob_Blaylock went full on troll with his attempted P&E thread that was promptly shut down hard by the mods as more of a Pit thread after the OP. I won’t quote it, but the title alone was epic poison:

Anyway, it might be intended (permit me to doubt) as a gloating review of what went wrong with the election, the title seems to give away the troll intent.
Was this cornfielded? I can find no such thread neither in P&E nor in the Pit.
Yes, Bob_Blaylock seems to be our other Trumpist, so a total of two known Trumpists on the board.

Sorry, I noted it last night, but didn’t get around to mentioning it until today, been a bit busy.
My issue isn’t specifically that they’re a Trumpist (although it is ONE of my issues with them), but that if you remember the Electric Vehicle thread that spawned their dedicated Pit thread, they’re actively jerkish on the various points they embrace.

I felt remarkably magnanimous and charitable when I thought to myself, “Well. That was a tad tone deaf.”
I saw that EV post he made too. I thought he was making every possible in-arguable use case for himself against EVs, as if to say that’s why nobody else should buy one.

The only reason is that I considered that OP and title a deliberate trolling effort, and wanted to call him out for that behavior. The existing Pit thread is largely dialed in on his unspeakable arrogant assumptions about EVs. I should probably have posted in BOTH but I’m been a more mindful of my Pit posting tendencies.
The second reason is that the watchers of this thread are a bit more general, and may have seen other such trolling efforts from them recently, and are more likely to flag such efforts, to the betterment of the board.
