I mean, the story wasn’t going to be that long, lol. Two or three sentences, max. But the whole post would have wound up being about my usual 5-7 short paragraph style, I think.
BTW, I’m kind enjoying just typing stuff out right now and not thinking forever on how to organize my thoughts and make sure all the necessary details are given, and then rewriting it 9 times.

“Omit needless words” is the best writing advice.
Succinct writing shows respect for the craft and audience. Dropping a thousand words into a conversation shows the opposite.
