Yeah that was … a suspiciously naive level of ignorance. Fighting ignorance is part of the community byline though, and I think we need to be wary of gatekeeping. We need to keep in mind that most people aren’t as intellectually curious and technically inquisitive as the typical doper.
Trolls are annoying and some of them really stretch the leash before the of hammer comes down. I think the moderators here do an excellent job though over all.
I haven’t seen the “Here, let me Google that for you” gadget on here for quite a while. Has its use been forbidden? Because I thought this case (and the one for potash) would have been perfect uses.
