Classic smarter trock move, start benign and then unleash the trollery a little later. Some of them are patient enough to wait months before exposing their trolldom. I’m guessing this one saw too much troll-fun in today’s threads to pass up the opportunity.

How much sadness do these people have in their lives that they go and do shit like this? I mean, to go back and get thrown out of a party over and over again because others think you’re a dick… And then go and do it again. It’s positively masochistic.
It’s doubly sad when it’s evident that they could have fun just posting here without being an ass.
On first read I thought that said “unleash the trolley”, and I wondered if it was some metaphors I wasn’t familiar with.
I suspect they do the trollery because they feel insecure or inferior.
On some level they feel threatened by concerns that they’re not as smart or knowledgeable or witty or whatever as the people that they’re trying to argue with. So if they can fool those people into making serious replies to their insincere arguments, at least initially, then hey, validation and reassurance! I must be smarter than you if I could fool you into taking me seriously!
It may look to other posters as though trolls are sufficiently smart and competent to engage in an online conversation without being an ass. But I’m not sure they’re actually capable of finding it fun. What they need is to reassure their own insecurity, and posting honestly without trolling doesn’t feed that need.
That may be true, too. I wonder how much of it is ancient grudges turned to new mutiny. With a community as old as this one, there are bound to be some people who just got pissed off one day and never got over it.
I think there are people who feel that they have been drummed out of here by the politically correct liberal hordes and this is their way of pissing in the punch bowl.
I think there are at least two who are retreads from several years ago who have been sealioning for quite a while. And people who should know better are humoring them by engaging them seriously.
Thinly veiled version of “I’m just an extraterrestrial life form who just landed in middle America with no preconceptions. I see that Black people are terribly underperforming. Convince me that it’s not because they are inferior.” And people go on with them for thousands of messages.
Some farmers fuck their livestock. Would seem rather rude to claim that that is something that you should link to the profession.

Again, though, ISTM that that strongly suggests insecurity of some kind. If you or I get thrown out of some group by a bunch of brainwashed dumbasses who are incapable of appreciating our merits, do we hang around on the outskirts of that group forever trying to trick said brainwashed dumbasses into continuing to engage with us?
No, I doubt we do: we just say “Gah, what did you expect from brainwashed dumbasses” and move on. The SDMB trolls, on the other hand, just can’t quit us, and I think ultimately it’s because they’re worried that maybe we’re not actually brainwashed dumbasses and they have to keep proving to themselves that they can fool us into taking them seriously.

I’m not sure what this means. Are you claiming that a substantial number of farmers engage in intercourse with their livestock? If so, then I have spent a fair amount of my life in semi-rural areas, and I’ve never met a farmer who does so. If not, then you are just making the same insulting smear at farmers for something that an extremely small minority do, the same as you have done for those in the anthropomorphic animal fandom.
