Who else thinks it was the doll that did the writing, then shoved the pen into the baby’s hands?
That’s more or less what I thought. They’re definitely leading up to a ‘Thank god, the baby isn’t evil, it’s just that the creepy doll is possessed!’-kind of moment.
Hey, you’ve got topics where no one is pissed that people bringing stuff up from the books meant knowing Bill was related to the Bellefleurs years before it comes out on TV, then you have GoT topics where people get bitched out for mentioning that something hasn’t ever come up in the books.
I’ll take the approach the TB topics have to the books over the bitching that goes on over it in GoT topics any day.

Are different threads not allowed to have different rules or different people with different desires? I don’t care if someone spoils True Blood for me because it’s a really fucking stupid show and it’s not like it’s meaningful to me that I find out the next episode is going to feature stalinist unicorns instead of nazi werewolves or egyptian ass puppeteers. It also significantly diverges from the book so any spoilers don’t necesarily carry over.
More importantly, no one seems to care here if you throw around spoilers. So you aren’t bothering anyone by doing so (especially in spoiler boxes). Whereas in that thread you’re bothering a lot of people because so many people want very much to avoid them. So you could just have the common decency to respect the wishes of the people of the thread, or you can be an entitled little brat screaming I’LL SPOIL WHAT I WANT!!! in every thread you care to shit in.
More or less my thoughts exactly.
People, I don’t watch GoT, and I don’t watch TB, so I’ll admit I’m not entirely sure who’s doing what here WRT spoilers.
I will say, however, that whatever spoiler rules are set by the people participating in the threads for any particular show should be followed in that thread.
If you want to comment on, discuss, or bitch about those rules, start a new thread in ATMB.

I’ve been slightly confused. It now seems like we can blame the doll for evil baby antics, but weren’t there antics before the doll was given to Arlene?
I don’t think so. Arlene was just paranoid about the baby doing normal kid stuff (ripping the heads of barbie dolls, etc.)
She also had the eye-thing happen when she was looking at “devil-baby” in Merlotte’s but it could have been a coincidence or her stressing out.
