I don’t care one way or the other, as I’ve never found popping bubble wrap to be restful. I appear to be unique in that, though. Can somebody explain the appeal to me?
I don’t really get it either. I pop a few because it’s a pleasant physical sensation but I don’t have the patience to do an entire sheet.
The person at the next desk over from me loved to throw the bubble wrap on the floor and run over it with her wheelie chair. It was good for getting attention.
It just feels satisfying when you pop it. I don’t often do a whole sheet because I like to pretend to have a modicum of self-control, but you know, once the kids were grown and gone, and I found myself with an evening alone where I didn’t have to drive anywhere or do anything, I would sometimes indulge, just occasionally, in a whole sheet. It’s legal here. But I know how tempting it can be do do a whole sheet every night, and get nothing else done in your life. So I limit myself.
I hope this style of wrap doesn’t become popular. This newfangled unpoppable bubble wrap is bullshit.
Close off bubble sections with one of these…
for your popping pleasure.
:p:p
LMAO! This was funny. I feel your pain.
Glad to do it even though I (somehow) didn’t realize it when I did so. (Hence the lack of attribution.)
To repent I will go sit in a corner and quietly pop some bubble wrap for a while by running the app with the sound off.
