We finally have the kind of faith-based government so many have longed for for so long. Just believe what you’re told, unless you are told there is zero evidence for a spurious claim, in which case you can be certain that source is lying. And you can forget about CNN, MSNBC, the NYT, and all those other “liberal” sources- we already know they’re liberals, amirite? What’s the point in considering whether anything said by these sources conforms to reality when we know in advance that they’re liberals??

Plus, lots of GOP voters really, really hate Obama. I think their shared hatred of Obama and “liberals” in general is the biggest thing they have in common, kind of the flaming golden calf of a maypole they have been dancing around for 8 years. Now that he’s gone, well, party’s over I guess. No wait, shocking new allegations!! 
And it is an alternative narrative to the Russian election hacking story. THAT story has evidence to support the narrative, but we can’t believe any of it because, yanno, the media. So there are all these elements to the story, but I feel like I can only perceive the big picture dimly, as through a glass darkly.

Comey’s giving public testimony tomorrow regarding whether Trump was wiretapped. What I would really like to hear from Comey is, “There is no evidence of this, because it never happened. It just didn’t. Trump, as president, could have simply picked up a phone to find this out. I think a thorough examination by a good psychiatrist is in order, as the president is clearly not in his right mind and is only growing worse.”
That’s what I would do at this point if I were the FBI director. Sure, it would be the end of my career, but so what? Continuing under Trump wouldn’t be worth it, and Comey probably has enough money to live on comfortably without having to work again, and he could probably be an adviser or board member somewhere.
Everyone seems to dance around the issue of Traitor Trump’s mental health. Al Franken has questioned it publicly, as has Carl Bernstein, but most public figures don’t seem to want to focus on this.
Can you rule out that Trump is merely dishonest?
Why can’t he be both? But I think he’s mostly insane, in a very literal sense of that word.
Yeah, but, see, you said that you’d get up and announce that the president is clearly not in his right mind. Now, granted, maybe he’s not; but maybe he is, and he’s just dishonest. And, sure, maybe he’s both – but I can’t rule out that he’s sane and dishonest, and so I wouldn’t stand up and say he’s clearly not in his right mind.
The fear is that he is completely sane, completely honest - and honestly believes all the conspiracies and crap he reads.

The Buffoon-in-Chief is clearly not in his right mind, and I’d love to see the FBI director tell Congress that Trump needed his head examined. That’s exactly what I would do at this point, career be damned.

Not that that’s a whole lot better. Coupled with Tillerson’s possibly accidental commitment today to treat China with “mutual respect” (Chinese code for “stay out of our way”), this would seem to signal that we’re entering an era in which China as well as Russia are more important to us than NATO. Yippee.
I predict Trump will soon ask for Comey’s resignation since his testimony today was not very loyal. He will then appoint Corey Lewandowski, Sean Hannity, or Ivanka to be the new FBI Director. We need a Trumpist running the FBI to stop those darn leaks and #MAGA, bigly!
