Once again I was reminded that I live in an entirely different world from my MAGA acquaintances. A friend of mine from high school posted a video of George Carlin talking about political assassins seemingly always going after those who want to bring us harmony. I replied that I was hard pressed to see Kirk as someone who was preaching harmony, and my friend said Kirk was always civil and interested in debating people on college campuses. When I asked about Christian nationalism, the great replacement theory, or his statement that Democrats what to get rid of all private property and live in sexual anarchy he denied Kirk has ever expressed those ideas.

We don’t live in the same world, and I honestly don’t know if he genuinely believes Kirk’s goal was to spread harmony or he’s just bullshitting me and everyone else. Maybe he’s even bullshitting himself?

That helped them solidify that the dad turned him in. So, what do you mean help solidify? And then you say that this individual who you claim to be trans was fully cooperating with the FBI.
So, somebody who’s been very helpful after the dad turned his own son in is now responsible for the it, just accept their facts as true for a second, which I don’t.

So then the New York Post, also owned by Murdoch, they then say Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin, Tyler Robinson, lived with transgender partner. So it goes from Fox Digital to whoever Fox Digital source was, someone who was seemed to be praising Kash Patel before and now the New York Post is now reporting on it. And then you start to see right-wing influencers and right-wing media saying that transgender ideology may be responsible for the shooting. Um, you have Rob Schmidt from a right-wing media network: “Trump told me this morning Kirk assassin has a transgirlfriend.”

And then all the Elon Musk accounts start coming out and there it is: “Mental illness is real. Trans violence is very real. This individual radicalized Tyler. If the reporting is right, this individual helped turn Robinson in.”
So, accusing this individual, that’s a bit it’s a bit odd, wouldn’t we say that? Um, and then Benny Johnson goes, “This is 100 left-wing influencer. This is 100% confirmed. Charlie Kirk Killer, Tyler Robinson, had a boyfriend who identified as transgender. This man is cooperating with the FBI.”

They got to just be like total jerks about it too and and and hateful when they say it.

“This man is cooperating with the FBI and has turned over all electronics and messages. I’m hearing there is much more to come. Yes, this is now officially trans violence.”

So let me get this straight. The violence is coming from Tyler’s alleged transgender girlfriend who is cooperating with the police, not the white dude who shot and killed Charlie Kirk. Got it.

I feel like I am living in a world gone mad more than ever.

When I take a peek at my FB page I see all kinds of posts praising CK and attributing all kinds of signs and wonders to him through whatever version of god they believe in.

One went to a prayer vigil and posted a picture of a huge rainbow that appeared only for the time of the service.

I have a few cousins and friends who are not afraid to post their own perspectives on the situation. For now such posts are abundant but I wonder how long that kind of freedom will last on this platform?

My local small town had a vigil of some sort on the courthouse lawn this afternoon. Of course the two GOP reps were present (State rep and state senator), along with a county commissioner. Looked like about 100 people were there.

Hope it all blows over soon. Maybe after he’s buried.
