Of course, people were also using it to plan hits, probably.

I hope the roommate, whatever his orientation (and I’m not about to accept as true what’s being flogged by the right-o-sphere now), is being protected in an undisclosed location, not being abused by questioners, and will get some version of a witness protection bolthole to escape to when the authorities are done with him. The Utah governor was blaming radicalizing social media influencers corrupting our youth on the internet, so in other words, people like Charlie Kirk.
They’re going to “go after” left leaning NGOs? Why not just skip the middleman and outlaw the Democratic party as a “terrorist organization”? Let’s just start rounding up anybody who’s registered with the party. After all, we’re all here engaging in “stochastic terrorism” by not accepting Trump’s lies and actually pointing out the hateful rhetoric that people like Charlie Kirk actually engaged in.
1st Amendment? What’s that?
And what would “going after” actually look like? Investigations? Unsupported assertions like that fed board member Trump is trying to accuse of mortgage fraud? A mountain of bullshit lawsuits? More manipulation of the federal courts to get something in front of the Supreme Court so they can just start blatantly outlying particular organizations on political grounds? This Supreme Court would 100% do that. Is somebody going to take a shot at Soros or AOC now? What is MAGA hearing when Vance and Miller says things like this? How the hell can anyone think this makes any sense?
And these are not social media influencers or random Russian bots on X. It’s the fucking Vice President and a White House chief of staff saying these things.
I’m trying to come up with a dryly witty end to this post and I got nothing. I’m just angry right now.

Oh, don’t worry. It’s practically guaranteed there will be more desecration during that so-called vigil. The fucker’s going to, no doubt, have a military honor guard marching out the US flag and the military service flags, to boot. For his burial, his coffin will be covered with the national ensign and that flag will be folded by a service member who will then present it to a high ranking commissioned officer, who will then turn and hand the flag to the dead bigot’s bigoted widow with the words

You’ll note there’s no mention of the branch of service and that’s because the SOB didn’t fucking serve this country!

Give it a couple of months. They’re being wildly successful by doing this one step at a time even though the steps only take like a week people have accepted it as the new norm every time.

A lot of the reporting has said he was “not cooperating” with investigators. I wouldn’t be surprised if he pleads not guilty. But it does look like a pretty open and shut case, so who knows?
I doubt he’s getting much of a plea deal.
The best he can expect out of a plea deal from Utah is not the death penalty. Then the Feds will get their crack at him.
