Indeed. Kirk was very much a “free speech for me, but not for thee” type. This is a guy who put together lists of professors and such that he disagreed with so they could be targeted for harassment and calls for termination.
I listened to that and heard the complete opposite. He isn’t railing against Trump, he is railing against the group that is opposite of what Charlie Kirk worked to build. He isn’t railing against Trump from what I can see.
MAGA is allowed to rail against anything and anyone, they’re allowed to savage any of their number who strays from the One True Path, but the one person they are never allowed to criticize is Trump. Watch them. They attack lots of people around Trump, but never Trump himself.

I’m a broken record here but I’m still gobsmacked that there has been ZERO discussion about gun control after this shooting. I’m pissed that people aren’t pissed about that! I don’t give a shit about Kirk’s politics - that doesn’t even rise to the point of relevance for me. Why did that asshole have that gun and why were his idiot parents allowed to have a goddamned arsenal with which to teach how to kill efficiently? Second Amendment, my hair balls.
But we’re here talking about Kirk’s trolling, like it matters one fucking whit.
Yesterday there were 3 cops killed and 2 others critically injured in a shootout trying to serve a warrant. That story is getting little to no attention compared to the aftermath of the Kirk shooting.
I’m all in favor of gun control, but under even the most restrictive possible set of laws, this would’ve happened. The guy used a deer rifle first owned by his father. Nobody’s ever proposed banning that scenario.
