His widow is the one person in the world that I’m willing to forgive for whatever she’s said since he died. Grieving people deserve space to be shitty, to say irrational things, and to break social conventions.
The politicians who are using this to stir up revolution are pure evil. Maybe she is, too, but I’m giving her a break for another week. Maybe she’s just a grieving widow.

I saw Goody Proctor being insufficiently mournful of Charlie Kirk.
The NYT said in one of its articles that Turning Point USA claimed it would pay most of the expenses. That said, Ms. Kirk is now $9 million richer than she was before the shooting, as a result of fundraisers posted on crowdfunding sites, so who knows where that money is going.
